STEELY DAN TO RETURN TO JAPAN
Announce First European Shows In 22 Years


Donald Fagen and Walter Becker a.k.a. STEELY DAN are returning to Japan for a series of concerts beginning October 8th and concluding October 13th. The tour includes stops in Tokyo, Fukuoko, Nagoya, and Osaka.

Joining Becker and Fagen on this tour are: Tom Barney (Bass), John Beasley (Piano and Keyboards), Ricky Lawson (Drums), Wayne Krantz (Guitar), Cornelius Bumpus (Saxophone), Michael Leonhart (Trumpet), Ari Ambrose (Saxophone), Michelle Wiley (Background Vocals) and Carolyn Leonhart (Background Vocals).

In addition to classic Steely Dan songs, fans can expect a few surprises as well as performances of new material from their forthcoming record.

STEELY DAN BACK TO DO IT AGAIN IN EUROPE
Announce First European Shows In 22 Years


Donald Fagen and Walter Becker a.k.a. STEELY DAN are returning to Europe for their first European tour since 1974. This 8-city tour includes stops in Germany, Holland, England, Scotland, and Ireland. Although the tour is scheduled to begin in September, specific venues and dates are still to be announced.

STEELY DAN has been recording since 1972 with the release of their first album Can't Buy A Thrill. Steely Dan's music has been instantaneously identifiable, a mix of jazz and rock with some rhythm and blues thrown in as well. Their latest record Alive in America is their first album in 15 years and first ever live record. It was recorded during the 1993 (28 cities, 34 shows) and 1994 (18 cities, 22 shows) North American tours and contains 11 classic Steely Dan songs including "Peg", "Green Earrings", "Aja", "Reelin in the Years", and "Josie" among others.
